Shabkhez Mahmood

Shabkhez Mahmood is a board-level risk and commercial executive with over 25 years of international experience spanning 45+ countries. A Fellow Member of ICAP, he has combined a Big4 career, a decade of it at Partner/ED level, with entrepreneurial and corporate leadership, which includes more recently building enterprise governance, risk and resilience capability for a leading Saudi telecom operator from the ground up and co-founding and leading the operations of a regulated GCC fintech. His work centers on transforming organizations through technology: designing operating models, deploying digital platforms from GRC, data and AI to asset, revenue and contract management, and delivering complex and innovative transformation programs across telecom, financial services and public sector organizations. A serving DAAB member re-appointed for the 2026-2028 term, he has contributed to the Board's Digital Competencies and Technology Governance, Risk & Management Frameworks.
