I am a Chartered Accountant by training, but I like to call myself a 'financial futurist' in practice. I serve as the Senior Partner for Advisory and Digital Transformation at Parker Russell AJS Chartered Accountants. My days are spent sitting at the intersection of legacy finance and emerging technology—helping traditional businesses navigate the disruptive waves of AI, automation, and data analytics, while ensuring their financial foundations remain rock-solid.

I am deeply privileged to serve as a member of the ICAP Digital Assurance Board, where we are rewriting the rules of how audits and assurances are performed in a technology-driven age. Beyond that, I sit on the boards of various Public Interest Companies and FinTechs as an Independent Director. In those boardrooms, I don't just review financial statements; I challenge strategies, question risk models, and advocate for transparent governance—skills that were sharpened through countless Toastmasters table topics and parliamentary debates.

My commitment to innovation extends beyond the corporate sector. I am an active advisor and mentor for the National Incubation Center (NIC) and the Business Incubation Center (BIC), as well as various other incubators across the country. I work with young founders who are building the next generation of Pakistani startups—helping them structure their pitches, understand their unit economics, and tell their stories with clarity and conviction.

At the heart of my professional identity, however, is education. For the last two decades—yes, twenty years—I have stood in front of classrooms as the Principal of Tips College, an approved CA college. I have taught thousands of CA students, not just the technical rigor of accounting standards and corporate laws, but the softer, harder skill of ethical reasoning. I’ve also served on various ICAP committees, from ETCOM to SMP, always advocating for bridging the gap between academic theory and practical, real-world application.

So, whether I am mentoring a startup founder in an incubator, challenging a CEO in a boardroom, guiding a young CA student through a complex audit standard, or coaching a new Toastmaster through their Ice Breaker—the core lesson remains the same: Leadership is not about a title; it is about the courage to communicate, the humility to serve, and the vision to transform.
